UASp regulatory sequences drive expression of mutant egl (contains alanine substitutions at 8 positions towards the 3'end of the RNA binding domain), tagged at the C-terminal with 3xTag:FLAG. Contains silent mutations so that the construct is RNAi resistant (not targeted by the shRNA produced by eglGL01170).
