A chimeric protein consisting of Hsap\KMT5A amino acids 1-214 (codon optimized for Drosophila) fused to Set8 amino acids 555-691 (this protein contains the Set8 SET domain) is expressed under the control of Set8 regulatory sequences (Set8 5' and 3'UTRs are also present).
