Description

UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of a fusion protein composed of EGFP, tetR sequence (encodes a DNA-binding domain) and the VP16 transcriptional activation domain. Although the tetR sequence and VP16 sequence form the components of the tTA Tet-off transcriptional activator, the encoded protein does not show transcriptional activator activity.
