The αTub67C promoter drives expression of the pav open reading frame (from the FIO3252 cDNA clone), in which 4 putative Cdk1 phosphorylation sites have been mutated to nonphosphorylatable residues (amino acid replacements T7A, T15A, T458A and T467A). The coding sequence is tagged at the N-terminal end with EGFP. Four silent mutations have been introduced into the pav coding sequence, rendering this transgene resistant to RNAi mediated by P{TRiP.HMJ02232}.
