Description

156bp deletion that removes approximately 60% of the w eye enhancer in the w 5' regulatory region. The deletion was induced on the TI{TI}w-ΔWari chromosome, thus in addition, the Wari insulator that is located downstream of the w gene has been deleted and replaced by sequence encoding an attP site and a single FRT site.
