Description

Deletion of approximately 3485bp in the bcd genomic region, spanning from the transcription start site to nearly the complete end of the 3'UTR (thus the deletion removes both the major ('large bicoid') and minor ('small bicoid') transcripts). A loxP cassette containing a visible marker (DsRed(T1) expressed under ey promoter sequence) has been inserted in place of the deleted sequence.
