Description

A KDRT stop cassette (which also contains a single loxP site), followed by a GS linker and a Tag:ALFA epitope tag has been inserted into the endogenous GluClα locus in the cytoplasmic loop between the third (M3) and fourth (M4) transmembrane domains. The tagged exon is common to all annotated GluClα isoforms. This results in a conditionally tagged allele; KDR recombinase can be used to excise the KDRT cassette to produce Tag:ALFA-tagged GluClα.
