4709bp genomic fragment (coordinates 3L:637635..642343 , release 6 genome) that includes the mir-ban mirRNA hairpin as well as two putative promoters of mir-ban. The putative Dref protein binding sites in the regulatory region have been mutated (by introducing a double nucleotide insertion).
