Description

Sequence has been inserted into the attP site present in TI{mCherry}traKO.Cherry, resulting in a locus that contains 1. an FRT cassette containing the D. melanogaster tra coding region (genomic fragment), and 2. the D. virilis Dvir\tra coding region (genomic fragment). In the absence of FLP recombinase, females express the D. melanogaster tra-F protein. If the FRT cassette is excised using FLP, females express the D. virilis Dvir\tra-F protein.
