Description

UASt sequences regulate expression of 'dCas9' (a catalytically dead form of the Cas9 endonuclease) fused to the KRAB transcriptional repression domain from the Homo sapiens ZNF10 gene (HGNC:12879). The transgene can be used for transcription interference (CRISPRi) in combination with an sgRNA that targets the dCas9::KRAB fusion protein to the promoter region of a gene of interest.
