Description

An approximately 2.2kb region of the intronic anterobithorax regulatory region in Ubx has been deleted (deleted region encompasses the abxN minimal autoregulatory fragment). A sequence cassette encoding a Disc\RFPDsRed.Ubi.PD marker flanked by a pair of inverted full-length attP sites has been inserted in place of the deleted sequence (this cassette can act as a target for recombination-mediate cassette exchange).

Comment:

An approximately 2.2kb region of the intronic anterobithorax regulatory region in Ubx has been deleted (deleted region encompasses the abxN minimal autoregulatory fragment). A sequence cassette encoding a Disc\RFPDsRed.Ubi.PD marker flanked by a pair of inverted full-length attP sites has been inserted in place of the deleted sequence. The position of the deletion endpoints on the reference sequence was inferred from the reported primer sequences used to generate the homology arms.
