The expression of mys^VDRC.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4^Hml.Δ results in prepupal macrophages exhibiting a significant decrease in cell area and defective motility, as shown by the near abolishment of migratory velocity and migratory distance in non-disturbed conditions, and by the strong reduction in the directionality and velocity of migration towards laser-induced lesions, as compared to controls.
