Sequence encoding TagRFP-T and Tag:SSPB has been introduced into the endogenous cyst locus, at the N-terminal end of the coding sequence. The presence of Tag:SSPB means that the protein produced can be induced to bind a second protein, tagged with Tag:iLID, in a light-dependent manner.
