| Definition |
Adult doublesex AbN neuron of the adult female that is also glutamatergic (Pavlou et al., 2016). Some of these neurons innervate the internal genitalia, including muscles of the uterus, spermathecal and parovarian ducts (Pavlou et al., 2016). Some of these neurons appear to be synapsed by the GABAergic AbN neurons (Pavlou et al., 2016). There are approximately 100 of these cells per female (Pavlou et al., 2016).[ FlyBase:FBrf0234085 ] |
