General Information
Term larval odd neuron of the calyx ID (Ontology) FBbt:00111631 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Neuron of the larval brain that forms postsynaptic terminals in the mushroom body calyx and presynaptic ones in the posterior inferior protocerebrum (CPM) (Larsen et al., 2006; Slater et al., 2015). It expresses odd skipped (Larsen et al., 2006) and it is cholinergic (Slater et al., 2015; Eichler et al., 2017).
