Description
Description
The Transient Receptor Potential (TRP) channel family are cation channels conserved from invertebrates to humans. TRP channels respond to diverse stimuli and are involved in a number of environmental sensory pathways. (Adapted from FBrf0220930 and FBrf0225477).
Notes on Group

The Trpml and CG42638 transcription units are completely duplicated in the iso-1 reference strain genome. The duplication is a polymorphic variant that is present in the sequenced strain, but does not exist in other D.melanogaster strains (FBrf0211329).
