Description
Description
The ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter family are primary active transporters that use ATP hydrolysis to drive the transport of substrates across the membrane. The ABCC subfamily are full transporters, encoding the functional transporter in one polypeptide. In humans some members of this class are associated with multidrug resistance.
