Description
The DMRT (doublesex- and mab-3-related transcription factor) proteins are dimeric sequence-specific DNA binding proteins that regulate transcription. They are characterized by a DM domain containing an intertwined C2HC and HCC2 zinc binding sites. DMRT proteins have been associated with the regulation of sex-determination genes.
