Description
The MADF-BESS (Myb-SANT like in Adf) domain transcription factors are sequence-specific DNA binding proteins that regulate transcription. The MADF domain binds to multiple trinucleotide repeats and is often present in combination with a BESS domain that mediates protein-protein interactions. (Adapted from FBrf0155780 and FBrf0224045).
