The Core Binding Factor (CBF) transcription complex is a heterodimer composed of DNA binding α-subunit and a non-DNA binding β-subunit. The α-subunit is encoded by members of the Runt domain transcription factors and the β-subunit encoded by the core binding factor beta. (Adapted from FBrf0138356).
