Description
Description
β-N-acetylhexosaminidases (Glycoside hydrolase family 20) catalyze the hydrolysis of terminal non-reducing N-acetyl-D-glucosamine and N-acetyl-D-galactosamine residues in glycosaminoglycans and glycoconjugates. These enzymes are involved in the N-linked glycosylation pathway. (Adapted from FBrf0190894).
