β-N-acetylhexosaminidases (Glycoside hydrolase family 20) catalyze the hydrolysis of terminal non-reducing N-acetyl-D-glucosamine and N-acetyl-D-galactosamine residues in glycosaminoglycans and glycoconjugates.
