Glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenases (quinone) catalyze the oxidation of Glycerol-3-phosphate to dihydroxyacetone phosphate (DHAP), with concurrent reduction of flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) to FADH2, and passes electrons on to ubiquinone. (Adapted from PMID:18296637).
