In D. melanogaster, there is only one gene, Bhmt, for the re-methylation of L-homocysteine to L-methionine. Dmel has no homolog of human methionine synthetase MTR which provides the link between the L-methionine cycle and the folate cycle. CG10621 is a paralog of Bhmt. As there is no functional information, CG10621 is not included in the gene list.
