Interaction in vitro; bait derived from ovarian extract; prey produced and labeled by in vitro transcription.

Immunoprecipitation of ovarian proteins bound to labeled grk RNA using an Hrb27C antiserum reveals a 48 kDa protein (close to predicted size of Hrb27C).

Hrb27C interacts with osk and grk 3\'UTRs, but not with nos 3\'UTR.

Labeled grk RNA was mixed with an ovarian protein extract, cross-linked to bound proteins, then the mixture was immunoprecipitated with anti-Hrb27C serum. RNA-crosslinked proteins were then separated by denaturing gel electrophoresis and visualized by autoradiography.
