Source was female adult thorax of Oregon-R fly line
Diagonal gels were performed by running a non-reducing dimension in a tube gel and a reducing second dimension in a slab gel. Under non-reducing conditions the disulfide bridge containing complexes appear delayed, but after the reducing second dimension these proteins will appear off the theoretical diagonal, given by a straight line from the origin of the gel and the signal from the monomeric forms (GstS1 and Tm1). Antibody MAC144 recognizes an epitope in the IFM-specific C-terminal domain of Tm1-PK, but not Tm1-PF
aa 373-441, coordinates relative to Tm1-PC
Interaction in vitro; protein produced as a recombinant fusion protein in bacterial system.
The Tm1-I/C isoform (441 residues) spontaneously forms filaments in vitro that are 13-16 nm in diameter, intermediate in diameter between microfilaments and microtubules.
Interaction in vitro; proteins produced as recombinant fusion proteins in bacterial system.
Tm1 forms an antiparallel coiled coil.
Interaction in vitro; bait produced as a recombinant fusion protein in bacterial system; prey produced as a recombinant fusion protein in bacterial system.
