Treatment of cells with spi increases the Cbl-Egfr interaction. Adding increasing amounts of a synthetic phosphopeptide encompassing Tyr1271 (aa 1263-1282) or the Y1271F Egfr mutation decreases the spi induced Cbl-Egfr interaction.
