Model sperm chromatin (ProtB oligomers on plasmid DNA) was treated with dhd, then subjected to low resolution gel filtration to separate chromatin from dissociated ProtB. Each gel filtration fractions was then treated with DNase to remove DNA and subjected to non-reducing SDS-PAGE and western blot to assess the monomeric-oligomeric state of ProtB.
