Comments concerning this interaction

Source was fixed embryos of transgenic fly line; bait produced from tagged transgenic construct; prey produced from tagged transgenic construct.

Bait protein localizes to dendrite branch points when expressed in da neurons, while prey protein is diffuse throughout the neuron. When co-expressed both bait and prey localize to dendrite branch points. This recruitment of the prey protein was taken as evidence of direct physical interaction.
