DNA-protein complexes observed by EMSA were used to deduce protein-protein interactions. Bdp1 does not bind the U6 promoter region in the absence of the SNAPc complex indicating a Bdp1-SNAPc interaction. The interaction was curated to all 3 SNAPc subunits, Pbp45, Pbp49 and Pbp95, since the precise subunit contact(s) were not determined.
Interaction in vitro; proteins produced as a recombinant fusion proteins in bacterial system or purified from S2 cells.
Interaction in vitro; proteins purified from transfected S2 cells.
