A secreted form of dlp was used that lacks its glycophosphatidylinositol (GPI) membrane anchor. dlp binds Sema2b via a high-affinity (Kd .3uM) and a

lower affinity binding site (Kd 31uM). SD values not given; error bars represent SD of two biological replicates. Loss of dlp heparin sulfate binding residues eliminates interaction with Sema2b indicating it binds to Sema2b via its glycosaminoglycan (GAG) chains.
