Plasmid used for bait constructs by the ECIA study. Designed to permit expression and secretion of cloned proteins fused to Fc, V5 and His tags, under the control of a copper-inducible metallothionein promoter. The Fc tag mediates dimerization of proteins, and can be purified by virture of its affinity to Protein-A.
