Comments

Plasmid used for prey constructs by the ECIA study. Designed to permit expression and secretion of cloned proteins fused to the COMP[Pent] motif, alkaline phosphatase, V5 and His tags, under the control of a copper-inducible metallothionein promoter. The COMP[Pent] motif mediates pentamerization of proteins, which increases avidity and facilitates detection of low affinity interactions.
