I have renamed l(2)35Cd, guftagu (gft). 'guftagu' means 'private
conversation' in Urdu. Mutations in gft suppress the phenotype caused by
ectopic expression of activated G-alpha s. gft and G-alpha s regulated
signalling pathways appear to be having a private conversation that I have
'eavesdropped' upon.
