Here's some info that came along with new stocks.
1. Df(2R)Chig230
Patrick Morcillo . in Dale Dorsett's lab says this
Df removes orange, but not speck. Also lethal over l(2)00628 and
l(2)05006, but not l(2)01296.
2. Nancy Roche in Thom Kaufman's lab screened for EMS-induced lethals over
Df(3R)96B and found 8 complementation groups. Df(3R)96B was isolated in
Barry Ganetsky's lab and removes 96A21 to 96C2. The Df complements tolkein,
but not tolloid (Nancy cited Nguyen et al., 1994 for this bit of compl.
data). Nancy's 8 compl. groups are:
tld		6 alleles; tld18 thru 23
l(3)96Ba	4 alleles; 1 thru 4
l(3)96Bb	2 alleles; 1 and 2
l(3)96Bc	1 allele; 1
l(3)96Bd	1 allele; 1
l(3)96Be	1 allele; 1
l(3)96Bf	1 allele; 1
l(3)96Bg	1 allele; 1
