Subject: Df(2R)59AD and moa
Dear Nick and Christian,
I am trying to sort out whether Df(2R)59AD does or does not delete moa.
Nick reports that it ('sac') does; Christian reports that it ('l(2)59ABd')
doesn't, but credits Nick for the info that 59ABd non-complements sac.
(I speak of Genetics  150:791  and MGG  259:383 , of course.) Could either
of you comment on which of the usual range of possible explanations you
favour? Many thanks in advance.

My mistake, it should have been Df(2R)59AB that fails to complement moa/sac
alleles, not Df(2R)59AD, which complements moa/sac alleles. Cheers, Nick
