The following information was provided by Dr. Kathleen Sullivan in response
to  a curator query regarding the Rya-r44F[16] allele:
"Regarding the 3' extent of the ryr[16] deletion, in ryr[16] 1830 bp of
genomic sequence is deleted downstream from the k04913 insertion. There is
also a small insertion of 19 bp from the 5' end of the k04913 P element.
Based on the previously published sequence of the Ryr gene, the P element
is 399 bp upstream of the start codon, so the deletion removes 1377 bp out
of the 2847 bp second intron. "
