Subject: P{Ser-GAL4.GF}1 and P{Ser-GAL4.GF}2
The following information was provided to the Bloomington Stock Center by
Robert Fleming, Trinity College (7/03).
The regulatory sequences in P{Ser-GAL4.GF} that drive the expression
pattern come from the 3' region of Serrate and are there in conjunction
with the Serrate promoter to drive GAL4. There are two independently
derived inserts of this construct on the second chromosome that were
brought together by recombination. The P{Ser-GAL4.GF}1 and P{Ser-GAL4.GF}2
insertions are homozygous viable and fertile.
