Df(3R)PX35 is a P transposase-induced deletion derivative of P{lacW}Fps85DE134, which deletes the region from coordinate 156723 (3' Inverted Terminal Repeat of P{lacW}) to 115311 of AE003682.4.

Exons 1-3 of Fps85D are absent, destroying expression of the p100 and p92 Fps85D isoforms. The p56 and p45 Fps85D isoforms retain expression as determined by RT-PCR. The lacZ sequence of P{lacW} is retained.
P{lacW}Fps85DX42 was derived from P{lacW}Fps85DE134 by X-ray mutagenesis. An H.M.S. Beagle element inserted at coordinate 133346 of AE003682.4. Amino-terminal domains of each Fps85D isoform are expressed separately from the carboxy-terminal SH2 and Kinase domains, i.e. RNA transcripts can be detected carrying exons 1-7 or exons 8-13, but never containing both exons 7 and 8. The mini-white marker on P{lacW} shows variegated expression.
P{UAS-Fps85D.p45} expresses the p45 isoform of Fps85D under UAS control.
P{UAS-Fps85D.p45}2 is a homozygous viable and fertile, second chromosome insertion.

Cortactin. This insertion should be renamed P{hsneo}Cortactinneo54. The recessive lethality remains unmapped.
Cortactin6A2 is a P transposase-induced deletion derivative of P{hsneo}Cortactinneo54. Most of the P{hsneo} element is removed with fragments of the 3' Inverted Terminal Repeat remaining (deletion coordinates: 86897 to 84203 of AE003733.3). 94% of the Cortactin protein coding region is absent.
