 comments:    As part of an undergraduate genetics laboratory at Dartmouth College, the molecular lesion in Nnd-1 was determined.
    The Nnd-1 stock from the Bloomington Stock Center has a 41 nucleotide deletion at the 3' end of the 8th exon, within the intracellular domain.  The deleted nucleotides, as determined by sequencing genomic DNA, are CGGTTCAGCGGGCTTGGACCTGAATGGATTTTGTGGATCTC.
