Subject: Re: Helping FlyBase
Hi Steven,
I investigated a number of sources of information and can not find the
reason for why we equated norpA7 to norpAP24. I can not rule out the
possibility that there was some reason for this - but since it is not
easily being re-created, this leads me to suspect that it was an error
of some sort that led to the statement rather than a factual basis that
can not now be recalled. For your purposes, I would assume that it was
an error and make the appropriate warning comment in Flybase that this
statement should be considered suspect.
..
best regards, Mike
