FlyBase Aberration records for 'potential deficiencies' were created based on FBrf0161091. That set of virtual deficiencies is now a small subset of the >500,000 deficiencies that could, in theory, be made from FRT-bearing insertions, according to the DrosDel Project web site (http://www.drosdel.org.uk/fdd/fdd_info.php). The 12,278 records for aberrations that remain virtual as of May 15, 2008, will, therefore, be removed from FlyBase.
