The following information was provided to the Bloomington Stock
Center by Tong-Wey Koh, Yale University.
The Eps-15Delta29 allele was described in
Koh et al., 2007, "Eps15 and Dap160 control synaptic vesicle membrane
retrieval and synapse development", Journal of Cell Biology 178:
309-322 (FBrf0202144)
as a FLP-mediated, single gene deletion between the
P{XP}Eps-15d00445 (FBti0054054) and PBac{WH}f02085 (FBti0050392)
FRT-bearing insertions. In fact, the deletion was constructed using
P{XP}Eps-15d00130 (FBti0053903) and PBac{WH}f02085. The resulting
recombinant insertion is P+PBac{XP3.WH3}Eps-15Delta29.
