The following information accompanied a stock donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Claire O'Connor and Linda Tanini, Boston College.
Df(3R)LT was generated by imprecise excision of P{w+mC y+mDint2=EPgy2}miaEY07883. To obtain deletions extending distally and not proximally from the insertion, they screened for y+ w- progeny. The first and second exons of Pcmt are intact and the fourth exon is missing. The mia and Pcmt alleles created by this deletion are miaLT and PcmtLT.
