The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Lawrence Goldstein, University of California, San Diego.
rdtp⁵ (on the second chromosome) is a spontaneous rdtp allele found by the Zuker lab in the background of third chromosomal insertion P{PZ}l(3)04281⁰⁴²⁸¹. rdtp⁵ is homozygous lethal and exhibits a dominant "tail-flipping" phenotype.
