Dp(1;Y)BSC313 and Dp(1;Y)BSC314 were isolated in the screen described in Cook et al. (2011) "Generating Y-linked X chromosome duplications for region 1A to 2C" (FBrf0213104), but they were not described in that report. Further details on our approach to isolating Y-linked duplications of X chromosome segments are available in FBrf0212582. Dp(1;Y)BSC313 and Dp(1;Y)BSC314 carry the following X chromosome segments (Release 5):

Dp(1;Y)BSC314   X:1 ;1959038..2010175 (1Lt;2C8-2D2)
In(1)BSC1 (FBab0046090) with breakpoints  X:387562 ;1837325 (1B5;2B17) lies entirely within the duplicated segments.
