The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Jim Mason, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
P{EP}Tis11G1183 was generated by Genexel, Inc.  It is an insertion immediately downstream of the Tis11 promoter and GAL4-induced transcription proceeds in the opposite direction from Tis11.  The insertion reduces the Tis11 transcription 7-8 fold.
