P{ort-FRT-OLLAS} was constructed during the course of the work described in Chen et al. (FBrf0223931). It drives expression of OLLAS-tagged ort protein under the control of ort regulatory sequences. It was constructed as a control to show the pattern of expression that would be expected when the FRT cassette in P{ort(FRT.SA.Stop)OLLAS} was removed by FLP-mediated recombination to form P{ort(-FRT)OLLAS}. In P{ort-FRT-OLLAS}, a single FRT sequence lies in the position of the FRT cassette in P{ort(FRT.SA.Stop)OLLAS} upstream of the translational start site.
P{ort-FRT-OLLAS}attP40 is an insertion into P{CaryP}attP40 at 25C6,  2L:5108448  (R5).
