UAS- GFP:Su (H) was constructed many years ago in the lab, and has not before been published. Details are: pUAST::GFPSu (H): N-terminal GFP tag, followed by Su(H)21-594 and a C-terminal V5 tag in pUAST. The line used in Djiane et al 2013 (FBrf0220483) is our "giants" line which appears to contain two copies of the transgene on the second chromosome. When expression is driven using daughterless::Gal4 it rescues viability of Su(H)Ar9/Su(H)SF8, although adult flies have some wing and eye defects reminiscent of reduced Notch function. The person who made it is Bruno Reynolds. -- Sarah Bray Physiology Development and Neuroscience University of Cambridge Downing Street
