To construct P{UASp-Pak1.RBD-GFP}, a 226 bp fragment containing the Rho-binding domain of Pak1 (amino acids 65-140 as described in Conder et al. (2004; FBrf0180111)) was PCR amplified from BDGP clone LD20767 and fused to the 5’ end of GFP. An ATG was added at the beginning of the RBD sequence to ensure expression. The resulting Pak1.RBD-GFP fusion was cloned into pP{UASp}.
P{UASp-Pak1.RBD-GFP}30 is a third chromosome insertion.
